FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS

A Fire Risk assessment will help you determine the chances of a fire occurring in your workplace. It will tell you if you have taken enough precautions, or if there is anything more that you are sensibly or legally required to do to protect your property and the personnel within it. Even if your building has previous approval, you need to be sure that approval wasn’t given according to out of date regulations, and you need to be sure that your latest risk assessment covers all the requirements of the current regulations.

In some workplaces you may need to apply for a fire certificate, a licence or other from of approval before using the workplace.
